This intricate landscape design/build in Heritage Point was an Alberta award winner for Hardscape application in a residential installation. A need for retention in the backyard and the client's desire for a functional and timeless formality led naturally to the inclusion of a combination of hard and soft elements. Locally manufactured old world themed concrete retaining walls took care of the significant grade change while allowing the fully specified shrub beds to look like they had been there forever. Complex and subtle size and colour changes in the master-built old-world paving stones completed this functional and elegant yard.
